Blood Donation Camp -5th Oct 2007
DMRT 43 organized Blood donation camp on 5th October 2007 at Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan.
Chief Guest: Tr. Ravi Khanna, President - Round Table International
Guest of Honour: Tr. Dhananjai Aggarwal.
Tr. Dhananjai Agarwal kicked off the camp being the 1st donor followed by tablers of DMRT 43. During the day a lot of tablers, parents of children studying in the school, teachers, employees in tablers’ offices and people who were passing by, came in good numbers.
The response was so tremendous and heart warming that though people were crowding for
donating blood, the Red Cross refused to take any more blood as there was storage constraint at their end. Though the camp was scheduled to continue till 6.30 pm but due to the tremendous response and enthusiasm of the people the Red Cross met its target of 120 units around 5.15 pm and refused to take any more blood. Thus many donors were refused and went away with a promise of donating in the next blood camp.
Final Statistics:
Total Units Collected: 122
Total registration for donations: 184
THANK YOU ALL FOR THE SUPPORT
